Since 1993, Mr. Butterfield has supported over 100 companies-from start-ups to Fortune 100 firms-in developing and implementing successful business strategies, and pursuing specific target opportunities. He has extensive experience in marketing a wide range of products and services to DoD and civilian agencies, as well as to state and local governments. Mr. Butterfield has worked on several of the world's largest engineering, environmental remediation (nuclear and non-nuclear), science and technology R&D, IT systems/services, financial services, distance-learning, and operations and maintenance contracts. He is a frequent presenter at conferences and strategy-development events/meetings, and also specializes in proposal development and writing.
Prior to that, Mr. Butterfield served in the White House for over 6 years during the Reagan and Bush (the elder) administrations, where he wrote personal and official correspondence for both Presidents, as well as public messages. He was later appointed by President Bush as Associate Director of Cabinet Affairs; in this position, he had extensive liaison responsibilities for 8 Federal Departments and agencies in behalf of the President.
